Breeding begins 7/4/14
I decided to do the first thirty days of breeding with a yearling cross. Hopefully he will get the heifers. The big bull calves were far too big for heifers this year. #16 was the first I noticed bred on the 10th.
The driveway to the farm is almost hidden so we solved that problem by planting a 24 foot carrot at the entrance. You can learn more about Wolverine Farm at www.wolverinefarm.com
Three Generations- 1987
Four Generations- 1999
The Ralph and Maxine progeny have evolved into a family with international roots that include Korea, Scotland, and India. In like fashion, the products of Wolverine Farm have expanded from potatoes and dairy to carrots, beef, eggs, berries and a broad spectrum of products. It has morphed from a sole proprietorship to an umbrella that covers a variety of businesses that market directly, through farmer's markets, and through commercial outlets.
