#10 live birth this year #65 Heifer
I looked for an hour last night and couldn't find #10. This morning I found out why- she showed up with a large strong heifer. Was able to run her down after she crashed into a current bush. She became #66 after a loud bellow and all the cows ran over to defend the noisy endangered newcomer. All that was left for the camera was their backsides as they ran off.
The driveway to the farm is almost hidden so we solved that problem by planting a 24 foot carrot at the entrance. You can learn more about Wolverine Farm at www.wolverinefarm.com
Three Generations- 1987
Four Generations- 1999
The Ralph and Maxine progeny have evolved into a family with international roots that include Korea, Scotland, and India. In like fashion, the products of Wolverine Farm have expanded from potatoes and dairy to carrots, beef, eggs, berries and a broad spectrum of products. It has morphed from a sole proprietorship to an umbrella that covers a variety of businesses that market directly, through farmer's markets, and through commercial outlets.
