7/2/15 Yearling Bulls go to work
#47 and Gideon # 42, both yearlings went to work today. Was going to wait until the 4th but one of the large cows that didn't take last year was in heat so the boys went through the chute to get cleaned up and were let out into the cows.
The driveway to the farm is almost hidden so we solved that problem by planting a 24 foot carrot at the entrance. You can learn more about Wolverine Farm at www.wolverinefarm.com
Three Generations- 1987
Four Generations- 1999
The Ralph and Maxine progeny have evolved into a family with international roots that include Korea, Scotland, and India. In like fashion, the products of Wolverine Farm have expanded from potatoes and dairy to carrots, beef, eggs, berries and a broad spectrum of products. It has morphed from a sole proprietorship to an umbrella that covers a variety of businesses that market directly, through farmer's markets, and through commercial outlets.
