#55 has white heifer #88- 5/20/17
It's been almost a month since the last calf. #55 has her first calf- a nice little black pointed heifer. #55 has the distinction of being the only cow with the ear tag in backwards. You can't read it of course but since she is the only one it doesn't matter. She is a good mommy.
The driveway to the farm is almost hidden so we solved that problem by planting a 24 foot carrot at the entrance. You can learn more about Wolverine Farm at www.wolverinefarm.com
Three Generations- 1987
Four Generations- 1999
The Ralph and Maxine progeny have evolved into a family with international roots that include Korea, Scotland, and India. In like fashion, the products of Wolverine Farm have expanded from potatoes and dairy to carrots, beef, eggs, berries and a broad spectrum of products. It has morphed from a sole proprietorship to an umbrella that covers a variety of businesses that market directly, through farmer's markets, and through commercial outlets.
